Player safety is the number one priority. Today’s youth tackle football is taught using modern coaching techniques that emphasize proper tackling, heads-up contact, and injury prevention. Coaches are trained and certified, equipment is professionally fitted, and leagues have strict rules designed to reduce unnecessary contact and keep athletes safe. Research also shows that learning proper tackling techniques at a younger age can help athletes develop safer habits as they progress in the sport.
