Recruitment Process
- Initial Contact: Fill out our online Prospect Information Form or contact our recruitment team at riders.osfl@gmail.com.
- Coach Contact: After you fill out the Prospect Information Form, one of the coaches from your level will contact you via email.
- Open House Info Session: Attend our Open House Info Session to learn more about the club, meet the coaches, and ask any questions you may have.
- OSFL Prospect Combine: You’ll be invited to participate in the OSFL Prospect Combine, where you can showcase your skills and compete for a spot on our teams.
- Feedback: Receive constructive feedback from our coaches regarding your performance.
- Invite to Tryouts: Following the combine, you will receive an invitation to attend tryouts.

Senior Varsity
Cedrik Rumbold
Head Coach
Coach Rumbold has been coaching football in the Ottawa-Gatineau region for six years. Rumbold began his coaching career after his time in the Football North program. He has coached in the QMFL, CCWFL and LLFMQ in Gatineau, as well as in the OUA with the uOttawa Gee-Gees. He is currently the Defensive Line Coach at Canadian Football Institute (CFI) Football Camp.
This is Coach Rumbold’s first season as a head coach with the Myers Riders Football Club, but he has been coaching DL and acting as recruiting coordinator for the U18 OSFL team since 2023. He is passionate about building a cohesive team unit where every player counts. His experience coaching in both English and French gives Rumbold a unique ability to communicate effectively with players. His attention to detail and commitment to continued success make him an asset in our organization.
Junior Varsity
Scott Boxall
Head Coach
Coach Boxall has been involved in the Ottawa football community for over 40 years. Having started his career with the Bel-Air Copeland Lions, he went on to play for the Myers Riders Football Club, Carleton Ravens and the Ottawa Sooners before beginning his coaching career.
Boxall is the President of the Myers Riders Football Club, where he has been coaching for the last 14 years as a Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator . He also serves as the Vice President of Programs for the National Capital Amateur Football Association (NCAFA) and on the board of governors for both the NCAFA and OSFL organizations. Over the years, numerous players mentored under Coach Boxall and his staff have gone on to play at US prep schools, CJFL programs, U Sports programs and NCAA Division I Programs. His experience and passion for teaching the game make him a critical member of our organization and a fixture of Ottawa football.
Bantam
Ryan Kublek
Head Coach
Coach Kublek brings over 12 years of professional coaching experience to his role as Head Coach of our U14 OSFL team. Having played at the OUA level as a defensive back for the Carleton Ravens, he became the Jr. Ravens Youth Football Camp coordinator and a Defensive Backs coach at Carleton, where he stayed from 2014 - 2022. Kublek has also lent his expertise to the OPFL, OVFL, USports and, most recently, Football Canada, where he acted as the Manager of Coach Development from 2022 - 2024.
This is Coach Kublek’s third season with the Myers Riders Football Club. His number one priority is player development and he is passionate about setting players up to succeed at the next level. Having mentored and propelled many players currently playing at the U Sports level, Coach Kublek’s expertise and dedication is invaluable to our organization.
