Ntare Bainomugisha Junior Varsity Head Coach

Ntare is currently a educator at the Ottawa Technical Secondary School. Attending York University where he was a 5 year starter and won the Charles Saundercook Memorial Trophy which goes to the athlete who best exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship, enthusiasm for life and the consideration of others. Ntare was also the recipient of the Russ Jackson Award in 2004 which is given to the player exemplifying the attributes of academic achievement, football skill and citizenship and is named in honour of CFL hall of Famer and former Ottawa Rough Rider Russ Jackson.

Ntare began coaching in 2002 and holds a level 2 coaching certification. He was awarded the NCAFA Midget Coach of the year in 2011, the OVFL JV coach of the year in 2012, 2013 and 2014. He was the Offensive coordinator for Myers Riders 2015 and 2016 teams winning back to back championships.
