Robert Bento CPO, CPOI Varsity Head Coach
Robert is currently the Senior Director of Paladin Security Group and is responsible for the National Capital Region Ottawa, Kingston and Eastern Ontario.
Robert is a former Semi Pro football player and was invited to free agent try outs with two Canadian Football League Teams Toronto Argos and Hamilton Tiger Cats, Robert has been coaching at all different levels of football in the City of Ottawa and other cities for over 20 years.
Appeared in the Ontario Varsity Football League Provincial Championships in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, won 2 back to back Provincial Championships in 2013 and 2014, set the record at the Varsity level for being the only team to have appeared in 4 straight Provincial Championships and going undefeated for 3 regular season in a row, as well as breaking 11 all-time offensive records.
In 2010 Robert was named the Assistant Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator for the Ottawa Junior Riders Football Club (Quebec Junior Football League) and won the Provincial Championship by going undefeated in 2010 and appeared in 3 straight provincial Championships 2010, 2011 and 2012. Robert was the former Assistant Head Coach and Offensive Line Coach for the Nepean Redskins Major Midget Football Club and won 2 OMFL Championships in 2002, 2003. Robert has coached all levels within the National Capital Armature Football Associations from Tyke to Midget and won several A-Cup Championships.
